It's at this point that you provide the information which forwards your personal Domain Name to your ITI replicating website. (if you just register your domain, it doesn't "go" anywhere) Frame-Forward means that when someone types in your personal Domain Name, it opens up your ITI replicating website but what they see up in the address line of your browser is your DOMAIN NAME. The "framing" of the Domain Name means that no matter what page they go to inside your ITI replicating website, your Domain Name remains in the address line of your browser

It's also at this point that you provide the information which will allow the Internet Search Engines to FIND YOU! This is where you add your "Metags"...Title of your Website, Description of your Website and Keywords/phrases for your Website. You MUST have this information BEFORE you can post your personal Domain Name with the Internet Search Engines. (this process ONLY prepares your website to be posted to the search engines...this DOES NOT post your website with any search engines...you must do that step next)

1. TITLE  Worksheet

This is the like a Headline for your website. When your Domain Name comes up in a search someone is doing on a Search Engine, this TITLE is what they see, along with the Description. If you were talking to someone and they asked what you did for a living, what short, succinct, description "title" would you give to your business. This TITLE should attract customers to your website with action verbs, emotion and include some of your keyword phrases.

2. DESCRIPTION

If you told someone the "title" of your business and they asked for more details, how would you expand the description of your business. Remember to keep these words and phrases appropriate to your Domain Name. (if you chose a domain name for your home-business, don't make all your words and phrases about shopping) This Description should include your keywords and phrases and should entice the shopper to visit YOUR website. The information should be the hook that causes the shopper to spend time in your website and should not be intended to sell anything yet.

3. KEYWORDS and PHRASES

These words and short phrases should relate directly to your products and services. Is your Domain for your ITI business, your shopping mall, your Priceline gasoline...choose words that describe what people will find on your website. Think of what a person might type in if they wanted what you have on your website. Use the phrases they would type in. Short, two or three words. ie: shop online; work at home, make residual income; find cheap gasoline; etc. Place commas between keywords. Place commas between phrases. Use commonly misspelled words that someone might type in. Use lowercase letters, unless they would only type in capitals (ie: ITI). (remember I told you I have 3 domains. I have www.shop400stores.com...and have keywords for shopping, save, spend, etc. www.ITIisIT.com...and have keywords for work at home, entrepreneur, residual income, etc. www.MizHomeBiz.com...with keywords for stay-at-home mom, second income, etc. Each of those are separately posted with the search engines, but they all open up into my personal ITI replicating website) (If you are in the local area, come to the Training meetings, we go over how to create your lists)
