PayPal

This is one of my favorite services available on the internet.  It's also FREE.  You can receive and send funds with a check or credit card to anyone who has access to a computer.  

If you have a prospect who would prefer to pay with a credit card, they can pay via PayPal and deposit those funds into your account.  You can direct deposit the money into your bank account and then write a check for the membership application.  

The best part of that transaction is that PayPal assumes any liability for charge backs on the card.  (this should be confirmed with PayPal on a regular basis to ensure that policy hasn't changed)

Absolutely anyone can receive money this way.  You can pay friends and family, send gifts of money, pay your upline for supplies you want sent to you, etc.  They even pay you $5 for signing up and telling people.  I believe it began as a service for people doing auctions online and expanded.  Anyhow, you can see I think it's a great service.
